This protein is a ligand for the NKG2D receptor. Binding of ULBPs ligands to NKG2D
induces calcium mobilization and activation of the JAK2, STAT5, ERK and PI3K kinase/Akt
signal transduction pathway. The Human ULBP2 ELISA Kit is designed to quantify natural or
recombinant human ULBP2 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant and body or lavage fluid.
